Types of Appliances

Conventional Braces Conventional Braces

Conventional braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets, usually made of steel, and archwires which are adjusted to align your smile in the healthiest position.

Ceramic Braces Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are worn just like conventional metal braces, but unlike metal braces they blend with the color of the teeth for a less noticeable appearance. Ceramic braces are harder than metal braces, work just as effectively, and will not stain.

The SPEED System The SPEED System™

SPEED System braces are miniaturized, self-ligating brackets which are smaller and less noticeable than conventional brackets. SPEED brackets produce beautiful, precise results in a highly controlled fashion. Adjustment appointments are shorter in duration and keeping the appliances clean tends to be easier than with other types of fixed braces.

Invisalign Invisalign®

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position. Ask Dr. Sperber if Invisalign is right for you!
